Abstract

This research focuses on exploring ways to enhance accessibility for individuals with visual impairments in the emerging metaverse platform market, which is one of the recently introduced visual information delivery mediums. The metaverse is a digital space built through virtual reality and technologies, facilitating various activities and interactions. To actively involve individuals with various impairments, special considerations are necessary.
 Currently, the metaverse places significant importance on visual information, but the future of virtual reality is expected to continuously evolve by incorporating diverse experiential elements into new content. In virtual spaces, vision and hearing are the most crucial elements, and supplimenting them with tactile feedback appears to be sufficient for providing a better experience for individuals with visual impariments.
