Abstract

In the article, the authors note not only the importance of the formation of professional competence, but also highlight the role of psychological training in the training of police officers. In particular, psychological factors contributing to deviation in police officers and preventive measures that can be implemented to reduce the effects of the identified factors are considered. The authors emphasize the importance of early identification of employees at risk and providing them with appropriate support and training to prevent escalation of their behavior. The article also highlights the need for police services to develop a culture of accountability and transparency to prevent misconduct and ensure public trust. In general, the article gives a practice-oriented view on the prevention of deviant states.
