Abstract

The social consequences of the problems of nomophobia and Internet addiction among young people are explored. The features of the development of network technologies are considered. Structural changes in the worldview of Russian youth and their adaptation to the new realities of living space are analyzed. Nomophobia is defined as a person’s ability to depend on technology, and the constructive and destructive consequences of this phenomenon are noted. The issue of human freedom in the digital space is raised. The role of information technology in the formation of a young person’s identity is studied. It is emphasized that nomophobia and Internet addiction are an external manifestation of a child’s internal problems, and therefore it is necessary first of all to pay attention to relationships within the family.
