Abstract

This paper describes the historical events of Zhuge Liang in the Ding Zhi Chun Qiu, a Palace Drama script, also comparing it to the record of Chen Shou’s “The History of Three Kingdoms” to see how the image of Zhuge Liang was depicted and changed. Ding Zhi Chun Qiu, a script written by Palace Drama based on the story of the Three Kingdoms, consists mostly of Shu Han figures. Among them, a lot of things about Guan Yu and Zhuge Liang are occupied. Of course, the main character of Ding Zhi Chun Qiu is Guan Yu and Zhuge Liang, and the keyword connecting them is loyalty.BR Guan Yu and Zhuge Liang were most edited and adapted among the characters appearing in the Three Kingdoms in accordance with the intentions of the Ding Zhi Chun Qiu.BR In this paper, we focused on the main historical facts of Zhuge Liang, which was described in the Ding Zhi Chun Qiu, and examined how the image of Zhuge Liang depicted and changed in the Ding Zhi Chun Qiu in the process of examining the differences.
