Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of management in the agro-industrial complex (AIC). It was found after the transition to a market economy when the management system of the agro-industrial complex has undergone significant changes. The functions of public administration were significantly reduced due to the liberalization of the economy. Now the agro-industrial complex has lost its integrity. Today, in addition to the sectoral ministries and departments that directly supervise the agro-industrial complex, certain functions related to the agro-industrial complex are performed by other federal ministries and departments of Russia, such as the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and Science, etc. correspond to the princes of one-man rule in management, which is considered the golden rule of management.
