Abstract
The study used an integrated mathematical approach to determine psychological adaptability of a person to perform activities in hazardous conditions. On the basis of probabilistic modeling of pattern recognition theory, a multiple regression equation was developed, psychological traits of applicants for fire service were among terms. The values of an integral indicator showing a low, medium or high level of psychological adaptability of candidates were determined.
