Abstract

Iqbal’s poetry is adorned with the praise of Prophet Muhammadﷺ and it is full of deep love for him ﷺ. In his poetry, Iqbal not only describes the symbols and rites of Islam but also gets acquainted with love of last prophet ﷺ that is essential for every muslim as it is a feature of muslims’ faith and also a compulsion for their lives. Iqbal’s natiya poetry is full of passion, true love for prophet ﷺ, as man’s salvation is not possible without the love and grace of the Hazrat Muhammadﷺ. This is what he seems to be preaching throughout his poetry that we must adapt our lives to the pattern of the last apostle of Allah. If man adopts the love of the Holy Prophetﷺ, then the pleasure of Allah becomes the destiny of man. This article gives the review of the Natiya elements in Iqbal’s poetry.
