Abstract

This article analyzes the socio-economic development of rural areas using multidimensional clustering methods. The main attention is paid to the assessment of factors affecting food security and the sustainability of agricultural activities. The research methodology is based on a comprehensive analysis of statistical data obtained from several national and regional sources, and includes the use of cluster analysis methods to group rural areas according to various parameters of economic and social development, allowing rural areas to be classified according to their degree of sustainability and growth potential, which is an innovative approach in the study of regional economics. The article contributes to the theory of regional development by providing methodological tools for planning economic policy in the field of sustainable rural development. The results of the study can be used by government agencies, investors and stakeholders to optimize solutions in the field of agricultural economics and resource management.
