Abstract

The article examines the basic legal framework for the development of e-Governance both in Ukraine and abroad. The essence, features and advantages of functioning of e-government technologies are analyzed. The current condition of e-Governance in Ukraine in comparison with the status of its implementation in European countries, the compliance of Ukrainian legislation with the e-governance objectives is determined. It is established that on the global stage e-Governance is understood as a factor in increasing a state’s competitiveness. E-Governance implements for our country are relatively new, so Ukraine lags far behind in the pace of e-Governance implementation (82d place among 193 countries in the comprehensive assessment of E-Government In Support of Sustainable Development in 2018). The main characteristics of the world models of e-Governance in comparison with Ukraine are systematized.
