Abstract

A contactless shadow method for measurements of the geometrical parameters of bullets and cases of weapon, its advantages and relevance are described. The results of beating measurements by an optical testing system are presented. It is shown that the shadow method has adequate accuracy for rejection of products according to permissible values for the nasal part beat, provides high performance productivity and allows to carry out rather fast calibration and readjustment of a system.
