Abstract

This study aims to highlight some of the words mentioned in the Holy Qur’an which have more than one meaning. The study will mention these different meanings of each word adopted in the Holy Qur’an which cannot be understood or difficult to know the exact meaning of the word. In this sense, unveiling the meaning of the verses by referring to not only the same verse intended elsewhere but the context of the verses. The researchers adopted inductive methodology in interpreting and analyzing the chosen words along with elaborative approach for their study. The most important findings of the study are that the meanings and interpretations of the Qur’an is continuously expounded in successive generations inasmuch as those scholars who interpret its adaptable and inexhaustible words or verses based on Sharia principles.
