Abstract

Waterscenes are one of the topics employed in poetic texts, as poets were inspired in their poetic texts when they took them as a refuge for their poetic symbols, either for interpretation, or to build a cinematic and dramatic world that represents the life that the poet seeks. Nizar Qabbani is considered one of the poets who employed the subject of water in his poetry, so he made of this subject a set of symbolic connotations and suggestions by making some individual and composite images, to draw distinct vital scenes whose significance varies from one text to another, so these water images were a living theater in which the elements of the image are manifested, ranging from the individual scene to the composite scene, to meet the dramatic scene with its water components, to be vibrant with symbolic connotations. Keywords: water, construction, art, photography, single, vehicle.
