Abstract
This paper aims to compare religious and artistic view of Dostoevsky and Tolstoy. To fulfill this aim, we will first look back on life of these two writers who were living and writing at the same time. This biographical survey will show similarities and differences between them in their spiritual conversion, especially in their understanding of Christianity and Jesus Christ.
