Abstract
Crop production serves as the basis for food production and animal husbandry. Qualitative and operational analysis-control of viability and germination of seeds of agricultural crops is an urgent problem of crop production. Various chemical and physical control methods and technical means are used to solve this problem. The purpose of the work is to analyze methods for monitoring the viability and germination of grain in different varieties of soybeans. Viability and germination were evaluated in 5 soybean varieties: Samer 3, Samer1, Yuzhanka, VNIIOZ and the promising D-150 line. Determination of viability by the tetrazole method showed that in the Yuzhanka and VNIIOZ varieties, the embryo is 96% alive. Also, these varieties have high results in laboratory germination of 94-95% and in the swelling method of 81-85%. The lowest results in the viability of the embryo and germination of seeds in the Samer1 variety and is 92%.
