Abstract
The article presents a detailed classification of various types of historical sources that reflect the history of the development of Museums in North-Eastern Kazakhstan. The author gives a detailed description of the identified sources, points to the publicly available documents necessary for the reconstruction of the history of Museum business in North-Eastern Kazakhstan.
