Abstract
The effectiveness of local self-governance in a community depends on many factors, namely the level and peculiarities of decentralized governance in the community. Due to the fact that the city of Yerevan plays a significant role in the socio-economic life of the republic, we consider it possible to single out the system of decentralization of city management as a separate subject of research. Accordingly, this paper presents the peculiarities of administrative and financial decentralization of Yerevan and existing problems.
