Abstract
The article analyzes various aspects of the use of computer modeling for the development of transport infrastructure. The levels of modeling, the main stages of preparation and creation of transport models of systems are considered. The overview of specialized software for modeling transport processes is given. The advantages of the PTV Visum software product, which is widely used in transport planning and analysis to build accurate and detailed models of transport systems, are specified.
