Abstract
The use of healthy planting material for re-production is an important measure to combat grapevine viruses. At the same time, the worldwide spread of some viral diseases of fruit crops emphasizes the need for research and implementation of a set of measures to free planting material from viruses, as the only approaches to limiting the spread of the virus through planting material. In this article, we provide real-time PCR-confirmed results of thermotherapy performed to free grape cut-tings from the leafroll virus GLRaV-2. Ac-cording to our data, the most effective ther-motherapy regimens will be a combination of high duration and high temperature.
