Russian Abstract: В статье рассматривается ряд аспектов, связанных с этнокультурной идентичностью Уэльса как части Соединенного Королевства Великобритании и Северной Ирландии, включая малоизвестные социокультурные особенности региона. Делается вывод об историчности этнического феномена валлийской идентичности с четко обозначенными этнокультурными доминантами, позволяющими дифференцировать культурную традицию Уэльса. English Abstract: The article deals with a number of specific aspects characterizing the national identity of the Welsh as one of the four constituent nations of the UK. The current study of the main Welsh cultural features reveals their historical interrelation and continuity of so called Welshness as a distinctive cultural phenomenon within the British Isles.
