Abstract

Summarizing our scientific study, we would like to emphasize that "Meghu Hayastani" periodical presented interesting information about the school of Amaras monastery, spiritual scientists of the monastery. It thoroughly covered the activities of Mariamian and Diocesan schools of Shushi. The periodical mentioned generally the activities of Artsakh diocesan, church parish, male, female, one-class, two-class, two-sex schools and valued their role in the process of development of Armenian educational and cultural life. Emphasizing the activities of individual supervisors, the "Meghu Hayastani" periodical presented about the settlement of a number of problems existing in the educational spheres of Artsakh during their leadership. The newspaper also valued the role of individual philanthropists and cultural figures in the settlement of problems arising in various educational fields of Artsakh.
