Abstract

The article considers the features of the transformation of the Adyghe society in the context of demographic transition. It is noted that the demographic crisis in the Adyghe ethnic environment is determined by the weakening of the spiritual potential of the traditional society. In the conditions of the weakening of the reproductive potential of the ethnos, the need to develop and implement a largescale strategic model of demographic planning, taking into account modern civilizational challenges, is indicated.
