Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of emotional support of child care teachers on creative role performance. For this study, data of 270 childcare teachers working at daycare centers located in Chungcheongnam-do and Gyeonggi-do were collected and multiple regression analysis was conducted using SPSS 22.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, the higher the flow and achievement of happiness fluency of child care teachers, the more positive the effect on creative role performance of child care teachers, and the more negative the effect on the meaningful factors. Emotion, relationship, and overall happiness fluency did not have an affect. Second, the higher the emotional support of fellow teachers, the more positive the effect on creative role performance of child care teachers. These results are expected to be useful data for education and various approaches to enhance the creative role performance of teachers who have an effect on the creativity development of infants and young children, which are core competencies in the 21st century.
