Abstract

Since 2004 the United Nations Organization is engaging in developing and promoting the business model of chemical leasing, a special approach designed to replace the classic type of relationship between suppliers and consumers of chemicals. The model will stimulate the commercialization of innovations in chemistry, reduce the burden on the environment and achieve an economic effect from the introduction. In this paper the core of chemical leasing is laid out, as well as its development history and experience of application in Russia.
