Abstract

The objective of this study was to examine the relationships among elite sports coaches" grit, athletes" mindset, and exercise satisfaction. To achieve the objective, this study collected data from 485 high school, college, and business team athletes registered with the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee in 2022. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, Cronbach"s α, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis SPSS 22.0. The following conclusions were drawn from the results. First, among elite sports coaches" grit, the persistence of efforts had a positive impact on the growth mindset and fixed mindset of athletes. Second, among elite sports coaches" grit, the persistence of efforts positively affected exercise satisfaction. Third, fixed mindset, a sub-factor of elite sports athletes, negatively influenced exercise satisfaction.
