Abstract
The article presents the theoretical background of abnormal behavior in adolescents. Nowadays, there is quite a large number of general and individual concepts of deviation. The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of the most popular theories of deviation. The tasks that are set in studying this subject-matter refer to biological, psychological and sociological aspects which signifies both inborn and inheritable qualities and provide insights into the issue under consideration. Methodological aspects are aimed at analyzing the social situation in which an adolescent lives and which is the main factor in formation of deviations.
