Abstract

The article examines such a type of post-criminal behavior as voluntary donations (charity) of defendants in criminal cases. Author analyzes different approaches of the courts in assessing charity as a way of making amends for the harm from a crime and explores positive and negative options for taking this circumstance into account in criminal proceedings.
