Abstract

This article discusses the legal regulation of the prevention of morbidity of the country's population caused by the COVID-19 virus. The negative aspects of compliance with preventive measures by Russian citizens are given, as well as positive examples of the culture of behavior of the population of some countries of the world during the pandemic. In order to improve the culture of behavior of Russians during the pandemic, the author proposes to make some changes to the current Russian legislation regulating legal relations in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population, in particular, to introduce the term "preventive and epidemiological culture of the population" and its official definition at the level of federal law.
