Abstract
The models and calculated dependences of the strength of inclined sections of bent elements having a constant and sharp change in the height of the cross section (trimming) in the adopted and previously valid regulatory documents are considered. An analysis of the stress-strain state is given, the nature of crack formation and fracture patterns is revealed. Rod models and calculated dependences of the strength of inclined sections on the effect of transverse force and bending moments in the development of normative techniques are proposed.
