Abstract

The quality of services is one of the most important and problematic indicators in the economy, due to the lack of a unified methodology for calculating quality. The Russian Federation provides a large volume of transportation services to the population, but the transport complex has certain specifics. The authors propose an algorithm for assessing the quality of transport services based on external criteria, reflecting the characteristics and focus of transport enterprises. The article assesses the quality of passenger transportation services provided by advanced modes of transport: air, rail and road. The analysis and comparison of indicators of safety, security, environmental friendliness, transport, economic and informational accessibility, as well as speed of movement and convenience is carried out. A rating of the attractiveness of modes of transport, obtained by comparing the proposed indicators according to the algorithm for assessing the quality of services provided, has been compiled.
