Abstract

The article notes the methodological uncertainty of the concept of “equivalence” if it is considered in the context of price interaction between subjects of food chains. The criteria for equality of profitability do not fully reflect equivalence, since they do not take into account differences in the rate of capital turnover. The possibility of using an alternative criterion for the equality of the rate of net profit on advanced capital is being considered.
