Abstract
The scientific article analyzes the history, the similarity of the clothes of the Kyrgyz and Kazakh people. There were allegations that two ethnic groups played a major role in shaping the costumes of the complex ethnic processes that took place in its territory, had an impact on the general development of culture, and in the course of their history, the culture has always changed. preserved elements associated with the traditional past, carrying out the drawings of ethnic identity, embedded in the process of historical development of one or another people. Artistic traditional motifs used in modern Kazakh and Kyrgyz clothing are always very popular, leaving them original and unique. If earlier national costumes were in the wardrobe of the older generation and cultural workers, then today the picture has changed dramatically. Clothing in ethnic style has become a trend.
