Abstract

The purpose of this study is to practice the library tour program for pre-librarians, to analyze the impact of the library tour program for pre-librarians on librarian job`s perception, and to present the educational meaning of library tour program for pre-librarians to the library & information science academies, the librarians in charge of the library tour, and pre-librarians. For doing this, the 29 pre-librarians participated in a library tour are surveyed by the questionnaires before and after library tour program. As a result, it`s revealed that the library tour program for pre-librarians is proved to be the educational effects that it establishes the per-librarians` attitudes for librarian job performance. It`s meaningful that this study presents the education effects of library tour program to the librarians in charge of library tour program and the pre-librarians.
