Abstract

The procedure for automated placement of decoupling capacitors on a printed circuit board using a genetic algorithm and a quality criterion based on the input impedance of the power circuit is considered. A practical example of the application of a genetic algorithm for solving the problem of placing elements on a flexible-rigid printed circuit board is presented. The results of the input impedance obtained using the developed algorithm are compared with the results of the works of other authors. A comparative analysis of the results of solving the problem of automated placement of decoupling capacitors on a printed circuit board using a genetic algorithm and a blind search algorithm is carried out.
