Abstract
Libraries are an institution of society that was formed in ancient times and still exists today. Economic, social and political changes in society have always affected the activities of libraries, which are constantly expanding the range of their functions. The widespread introduction of information technologies has led to the emergence of various types of information resources and databases, such as electronic libraries, electronic library systems. Of particular interest are electronic library systems that are designed to meet the needs of educational institutions. However, the availability of a large number of services, providing access to various types of educational and scientific literature, providing additional services makes it possible to use electronic library systems in the activities of intellectual centers created at libraries.
