Abstract

The Printing Museum of the National Library of Armenia, as a center for the preservation of Armenian printed heritage, collects, exhibits and presents the 510-year history of Armenian printing. Pre-serving and promoting national cultural heritage is one of the Printing Museum’s strategic missions, along with the organization of events and exhibits to promote inter-museum relations on topics related to the history of printing, commemorative events, and memorable dates. The article presents the Museum’s itinerary of anniversary events during the last five years (Hovhannes Tumanyan-150th anniversary, Komitas-150th anniversary, The First Republic of Armenia-100th anniversary, Yeghishe Charents-125th anniversary, etc.).
