Abstract

The main purpose of writing this article is a comprehensive analysis of the research of Chinese scientists on the formation of the image of the China in the media space of Kazakhstan. The theoretical concepts of the national image of researchers from a neighboring state and its practical application were analyzed. The theoretical and practical significance of this study lies in the analyses of the work of the country's leading media aimed at shaping the national image of a neighboring country from the scientists point of view and their own interests. Over the past ten years the relations between the two countries have become the core of regional studies, especially from China, which has become interested in the problem of forming the national image of Kazakhstan in leading (traditional and online) mass media. For this reason, the author took the articles of scientists from a neighboring country as the subject of the study and analyzed them using different research methods. The value of this study lies in the fact that in the Kazakhstani media the image of China was shown as a reliable initiator of cooperation, a mutually beneficial partner. The information from Kazakh websites and from bloggers on Facebook about the country in thematic, substantive, genre terms is also systematized. Thus, the researcher was convinced of the reliability of the opinions of scientists from neighboring countries regarding the media space of Kazakhstan. At the end of the article the author concludes that for any country, the issue of national image is a responsible and important measure to solve the problem of the nation.
