Abstract
The concept of a digital twin in logistics systems and supply chain management continues to be relevant. The digital twin represents a set of simulation models that can effectively improve the operation of warehouse and distribution centers. The relevance of the creation and implementation of simulation models is due to the fact that traditional methods of inventory management do not allow achieving the desired level of efficiency, taking into account the development of digital solutions in logistics. The article provides testing of simulation modeling approaches by using the example of an inventory management system. The concept of creating a simulation model, determining its parameters, and testing its use based on a warehouse and distribution system are considered. The results obtained determined the current and planned (predicted) indicators, which makes it possible to adequately assess the prospects for the further development of the company.
