Abstract

The article describes oil painting as a traditional national practice, describes the key points of teaching fine art in modern conditions. The necessity of introducing computer technologies into the process of professional painting training is noted due to the widespread digitalization of Chinese society. The spread of the latter led to the emergence of the phenomenon of digital art, which led to changes in the system of training future artists. The relevance of the article is justified by the need to follow modern trends in education not only in the humani-ties and technical sciences, but also in the field of art, including painting. It is concluded that the digitalization of art education expands the list of competencies of graduates of creative universities, which increases their com-petitiveness in the labor market of the country and stimulates the development of electronic mass art – com-puter painting while preserving the aesthetic characteristics of the traditional one.
