Abstract

The article reveals the peculiarities of using the French fixed expressions in the Russian language by the example of the Russian fiction works. The purpose of the work is to study the connection of foreign-language stereotypes with a Russian speaker’s linguistic ability. As a result of the study, the author draws attention to the fact that every French fixed expression in a Russian speaker’s speech does not lose, but continues to have the national-cultural imprint of the ethnic group, to which it belongs, namely the French one.
