Abstract

The results of any study depend on the methodological position of the researcher. This is due to the fact that by choosing the methodological foundations of pedagogical research, theoretical and practical directions of scientific work are determined, methods of scientific research are selected, and ways to achieve results are determined. This article presents a methodology for teaching mathematics to technical college students using its historical elements. In teaching mathematics to college students, issues of historical content and the history of each branch of mathematics occupy an important place. By learning mathematics through its history, solving problems of historical content, students are not limited to mastering current material, but broaden their horizons. The article also mentions several teaching methods (“Tornado”, “Game”). Motives such as interest in the subject, awareness, compulsion, etc. also appeared. When covering a topic in mathematics, we looked at how to use its historical elements.
