Abstract
The article highlights the theoretical and normative features of the implementation of prosecutorial supervision and departmental control over the execution of punishments in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and also provides a translation of article 21 of the Code on the Execution of Punishments of the Republic of Azerbaijan «Participation of the Prosecutor’s Office in achieving the goals of punishment».
