Abstract

The article presents the results of an analysis of the processes of socio-economic transformation of the industrial sector and changes in the role of humans in production activities as a result of the introduction and active use of digital technologies. Conceptual provisions in the theory of digitalization of industry are formulated. Using the example of a study of the processes of digitalization of mechanical engineering and oil and gas industry enterprises, the current results of the digital transformation of production and management are identified and the most promising directions for its development are identified. The key trends in the digitalization of Russian industry for the coming years have been identified and predicted. the most promising paths for the digital development of industry in the Russian Federation are outlined. The issues of the impact of digital transformation of the industrial sector on the employee are studied, the advantages and threats of this process for him are highlighted, and the role of the person himself in this process is determined.
