Abstract

본 연구는 농촌지역 노인들을 대상으로 노인의 구강관리 실태와 고혈압 관련 건강에 대한 행태를 파악하고, 주관적 건강상태 인지정도를 파악하여 농촌지역 노인들의 구강건강 관리 프로그램 등 운영 강화와 개인별 구강보건 교육 및 건강생활 실천율을 높여 삶의 질을 높이고자 고령군 보건 지소 내소 환자 150명을 무작위로 선정하여 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 2009년 7월 1일부터 7월 30일까지 조사하였다. 연구결과는 대부분의 대상자가 고혈압 진단을 받고 정기적으로 약물을 복용하고 있었으며, 주관적 구강건강상태는 나쁘다고 인지하고, 치석제거와 구강검진 경험은 없는 것으로 나타났다. 교육수준, 경제적 상태에 따라 건강관리 형태에 유의한 영향을 미쳤고, 연령, 학력, 경제적 상태는 구강건강상태에 영향을 미쳤다. 연령과 경제적 상태는 구강검진에 유의한 변수로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통하여 농촌 농인의 구강관리와 건강관리는 변수간의 관련성이 있으며, 치석제거와 구강검진이 포함된 구강관리 프로그램 개발 및 운영이 필요하겠다. Purpose: The aim of the study was to identify the oral health status and general health status of rural elder in order to develop of oral health management program and improving quality of life. Methods : 150 elder participated in the study, lived in GoRung Gun city, visited public health center, from 1st July 2009 to 30st July 2009. Results: The majority elder had hypertension and took medicine for hypertension regularly. The subjective oral health status was bad and the majority of experience of scaling and oral examination were none. General health management was influenced by education and economic status and oral health status was influenced by age, education and economic status. Age and economic status were effect for oral examination. Conclusion: These results may contribute to a better understanding of general health status, oral health status and management of rural elder. The relation between oral management and general health management was influenced. These findings are basis to development of oral health management program including scaling and oral examination for rural elder.
