Abstract

The article examines one of the trends of genre transformations in the domestic music of the early XX century associated with the interaction of concert and everyday genres. The authors analyse the forms and peculiarities of genrism manifestation in the composer’s academic creative work. The mentioned feature is considered as a vivid artistic and sociocultural phenomenon. Poetics of everyday genres is examined in the aspect of its potential to transfer new artistic meanings. The research material, along with famous compositions, includes unknown ones - the operetta “Arshin Mal Alan” by U. Hajibeyov and the comic opera “Keto and Kote” by V. Dolidze.
