Abstract

The world economy is at the initial stage of the next big cycle of its development. All directions for technical and technological development, including with the use of digitalization, are open, new participants in the world economy are being formed. In this regard, the strategic position in the domestic and world arena that the science and practice of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation will occupy in the new large cycle of development of the world economy for the next 50 years, the first half of which is characterized by a favorable development of the conjuncture, is of great importance. The research studies and systematizes the existing contradictions in the field of digitalization in the agroindustrial complex, develops the principles of digitalization in the agro-industrial complex, and defines the goals of digitalization. The theoretical and practical significance of the study also lies in the fact that a classification of digital technologies in the agro-industrial complex has been developed, requirements for the development of digital technologies in the agro-industrial complex have been identified, features of the digitalization of production and digitalization of the service sector have been identified, a classification of scientific research in the agro-industrial complex has been developed in order to form a system of strategic state management of scientific activities, scientific problems in the field of digitalization in the agro-industrial complex are identified. The results of the research can be used in the process of digitalization in the agro-industrial complex and in other sectors of the national economy of the Russian Federation, by scientific organizations, in the educational process in agricultural universities, as well as by commodity producers in all areas of the agro-industrial complex, government authorities of the agro-industrial complex.
