Abstract

This study examined the composition of contents and questions in the Chinese history units of three 10th grade history textbooks of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. According to the curriculum, students in grades 5-9 learn history from ancient times to the present in chronological order, focusing on Western Europe. In 10th grade, they learn the history of three countries, Russia, China, and Turkey, as world history of unfamiliar spaces.
