Abstract
The objective of this scientific article is to study the development of destinations with gambling and wine tourism. The link between gambling and wine is examined as an integral part of the tourism proposition. The possibilities for combining them are highlighted and the motives for attracting visitors by uniting them are discussed. Sustainable practices for the development of the wine business for the local economy and tourism in the context of the Green Deal“ are outlined. Major successful global models for the development of the wine industry are presented. The attention is focused on the directions for the implementation of new sustainable practices for the development of destinations. The author defends the thesis that proper and timely implementation of sustainable practices in the field of wine and gambling tourism will have a positive effect on the development of countries in the context of the Green Deal.
