Abstract

The current research aims to identify: digital empowerment among computer teachers in the faculties of education and science and the significance of the difference in the digital empowerment scale according to gender variables male and female) ( Certification and length of service the research was determined by computer teachers in the faculties of education and science in the universities of the Middle Euphrates (Qadisiyah, Kufa, Babel, Karbala and Wasit), for the academic year 2022-2023 . the size of the basic sample was (102) male and female teachers, and they were randomly selected.the researcher adopted the descriptive correlational research method in order to achieve the objectives of the research, a tool was prepared to achieve the objective of the research (the digital empowerment scale), which consisted in its final form of (29) paragraphs.Within three domains (equipment, training, and standards), the virtual validity and construction validity of the scale were verified, and the discriminatory power of the paragraphs was calculated and the scale stability coefficient was calculated using the Vakronbach coefficient, and the digital empowerment scale stability coefficient was (0.934) And after applying the two research tools and using the appropriate statistical methods based on the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program: I used the Ca2 square, the percentage, the t-test for one sample, the t-test for two independent samples (t-test), Pearson's correlation coefficient, the Vakronbach equation for internal consistency, and the triple analysis of variance.the result of the research showed: Computer teachers in the faculties of Education and Science possess digital empowerment with a high degree, and there are no statistically significant differences between males and females and between certificate and length of service, and that the interaction between the gender variable, the certificate variable, and the length of service variable according to the triple interactions of the digital empowerment scale does not amount to to the level of intangible significance.
