Abstract

In 2017, the current government announced a national agenda, emphasizing the realization of social values. The real estate industry is no exception, and interest in residential welfare is increasing. In addition, Public companies that do this are also concerned about the social role and the measurement of the social value they are creating. In response to these social changes, this study examined the concepts and measures of social values currently being discussed, and examined the situation in which these contents were applied to real estate public enterprises. For this purpose, the social value measurement items and results of two major real estate public corporations established to realize housing welfare were compared and analyzed. Through this, the direction was proposed for establishing standards for measuring social values and measuring methods. It also presented a task for the pursuit of social values to settle in the real estate sector.
