Abstract

With the change in society, new requirements are placed on the training of specialists. Modern society requires competent professionals. In this regard, the purpose of the task of teaching mathematics is subject to change. A competency-based approach to teaching mathematics has emerged. And this requires the modernization of the content, methods, forms and technology, the conditions for teaching mathematics. According to this approach, issues of advanced training of teaching staff, self-education of students should be considered. This article discusses the issue of teaching mathematics in a school and secondary vocational education environment by strengthening the applied aspects of tasks and developing the level of students' preparation.
